- People don't fall out of love-- they forget to love. Go back to the things you did at the beginning of your relationship that worked for you. Talk about the reason you got together, look at photographs, etc.
- Try to keep the beginning very much alive
- Keep your romance alive. Be affectionate, show the love. The greatest gift you can give your children is parents who love each other.
Appreciate the Differences
- Go watch this YouTube video: The Tale of Two Brains
Focus on the Positive
- Don't criticize, don't focus on the negatives, don't find fault with each other
- Tell each other when you see positives and the positive attributes will grow
- For two weeks stop saying anything negative about your spouse. Notice the good things and tell them when you see them.
- Use "please" and "thank you" with your mate.
